Loud, heavy, psychedelic stoner rock that swings is the core of 1968’s genre signature. It is weaved into the DNA of the latest material, too. The special feature of the album “Salvation If You Need” was a two-month live recording in an organic environment. This enabled a more natural feeling, a live-act sense, especially in the time of the pandemic, which made it scarce with many things, especially live performances essential for riff masters such as 1968. The difficulties they found themselves in during 2020, both professionally and privately, they immortalized it in the studio where, as they say, there is always salvation. Vinyl version is released in 500 hand-numbered copies on 12” black vinyl and 100 hand-numbered copies on 12” red vinyl, housed in gatefold cover with 8-page booklet. Dan, Jimi, Bear and Sam are 1968, loud, psychedelic stoner rock machine from Cheshire, England which has been together since 2013. Already well-known in their homeland and beyond, they shared the stage with bands like St. Vitus, Kadavar, Monolord, Elephant Tree and Valley Of The Sun. Their philosophy is simple – playing loud as fuck, and they successfully demonstrated it on tours through the United Kingdom, European countries and America, where in May 2019 they played three dates with greats like John Garcia and Red Fang.
