RELEASE

Murmuration was originally released on Bad Elephant Music in 2019, this is the first vinyl press. Some say that the number 7 is a magical one. This seven-tracked release proves it. The band itself is the epitome of underrated prog rock, and Murmuration is probably the biggest why. Powerful, edgy, both familiar and unpredictable enough, all at the same time. Limited to 200 hand-numbered copies on 12” black vinyl.

BAND

At the beginning of time, there were two sons. The synergy of vocalist and guitarist Simon Oakes and drummer Andrew Prestidge brought a new perspective on progressive rock, called Suns of The Tundra. Oakes previously played in Peach together with Tool’s Justin Chancellor, while he and Prestidge also used to play together in The Osiris Club and Geyser. Suns of The Tundra represents a multi-dimensional, multi-layered journey into the core of progressive heavy music.
