On February 27, Italian rockers Godzilla Was Too Drunk To Destroy Tokyo and the promising local groove metal band Sworn To Death are coming to Monteparadiso!

The crew behind this ridiculously cool band name (or GWTDTDT when there’s lack of space 😉 ) joined forces in 2022 in a small town near Genoa. They quickly caught the eye of heavy psych and stoner fans thanks to their high-energy live shows and unique DIY approach to making music. In just a few years and releases, Sara De Luca (bass guitar), Nicola Viola (drums), and Alessandro Camurati (guitar) have toured a huge chunk of the world from Europe to Japan. Wherever they show up, they become an unexpected surprise for anyone who hasn’t heard them yet.

Local goes global

Sworn to Death formed in 2021, hit the ground running in 2022, and haven’t stopped since. They play groove metal with deathcore elements: hard, powerful, no compromises. At Monteparadiso, they’ll be showcasing their fresh album “Pillars of Morality / Ruins of a Mind”, released in November. They call themselves the most innovative local band ever, so here’s your chance to see if they deliver.
