CURATED CINEMA with Nemeček: Watch a selection of short films!

The day after the warm-up, on Friday, July 11th, from 7:30 to 8:30 PM, just before the official opening of the 2025 edition of the DC Rojc Open Air festival and the first notes being played, drop by Klub Kotač for Curated Cinema with Nemeček!

Vedran Živković, Leo Beslać, and Borna Maksan have selected short Croatian films that they wish to share with everyone gathered. Before the screening, they will personally introduce us to the stories behind the films and explain why they chose these particular works as an introduction to the festival.

Nemeček is, by definition, a (noise) rock band. In practice, their music is pure emotion—impossible to escape. This trio effortlessly breaks down all barriers of musical preference and strictly defined genre boundaries, and their concerts are an absolute catharsis, deeply soaked in Balkan melancholy and nostalgia.

Year after year, Nemeček continues to grow. They won the Milan Mladenović Award in 2024 for their song “Mirila,” but even more importantly, they have won over audiences from the Netherlands and Germany to Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. After their performance last October at Monteparadiso, we are thrilled to welcome Vedran, Leo, and Borna once again, this time at DC Rojc Open Air, ready to enchant us with their magic.
