One of today’s most prominent rock icons, Rosalie Cunningham, credited with reviving “retro
rock” and the golden age of 1960s and 1970s music will perform on September 7th at Klub
Kotač in Pula!
Rosalie is coming from the UK and is considered an absolute star (who has yet to reach her
full ascent) in the realm of progressive psychedelic rock’n’roll. She is a multi-award-winning
singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, known for her early work with the bands Purson
and Ipso Facto.
Rock’n’roll revival to kick off September
During her solo career, from 2019 to today, she has released three albums and a live record,
winning numerous awards, including Prog Magazine’s Best Female Vocalist of 2023. Her rise
among audiences and music connoisseurs has been cemented by countless performances
across Europe, where she has firmly established her status as a rising rock’n’roll star.
In her work, Rosalie explores diverse themes such as consumerism, questions of identity and
feminism, as well as politics, corruption, and power relations—all depicted in the sweetest
possible way through elements of mysticism, occultism, and esotericism.
The beginning of September brings the perfect introduction to autumn at Kotač, with a top-
class performance by British rocker Rosalie Cunningham—often described as what would be
born from the union of Kate Bush and The Beatles. We’d also add names like Jethro Tull,
Coven, as well as bands such as Kadavar, Jess and the Ancient Ones, and Jex Thoth to that
list. Tickets are available here, and the program starts at 9 PM.
