Nick Oliveri’s name is well known to all rock connoisseurs, especially fans of iconic bands such as Queens Of The Stone Age and Kyuss. Connoisseurs, as well as those generally eager for uncompromisingly good rock concerts, will be delighted by the news that on Monday, August 14, Mondo Generator is playing in front of the Monte Paradiso club in Pula, Croatia! 

This is the latest band of extremely talented musician and multi-instrumentalist who has done thousands and thousands of tours, concerts, and meetings with fans – but it will not stop any time soon. 

Just to mention, the announced rock spectacle is Nick Oliveri’s second visit to Pula this year, which says a lot about the impression the Istrian audience made on the artist. 

Nick Oliveri is probably best known for being a member of the legendary Southern California band Kyuss, as well as being a member of Queens Of The Stone Age from 1998 to 2004. In punk rock circles, however, he is best known for his involvement in the band Dwarves, under the nickname Rex Everything. Since 1997, he has been the frontman of the band Mondo Generator, through which a lot of great names such as Josh Homme and Brant Bjork have passed, leaving behind as many as 7 studio albums. Oliveri also performs as a solo musician, often participating in the albums and tours of his friends and their associated musical projects. Some of them are Winnebago Deal, Mark Lanegan Band, Masters Of Reality, The Desert Sessions, and others.

The promising Pula-Rijeka collective The Freak Folk of Mangrovia, made up of numerous established musicians, will be in charge of warming up the audience and reaching the working temperature on that summer night. They approach music as a game and are happy to experiment with sound and various rhythmic themes. They do not create songs in the classical sense but develop ideas that range from light, relaxed, atmospheric parts to fierce, chaotic, sonic explosions.

Given the high interest and limited seats, it is important to get your tickets in time. The presale price is 15 euros, and it can be purchased through the Entrio system, as well as physically at HUIU, from Monday to Friday from 5 to 9 p.m. at Zagrebačka 27, Pula, or directly from us. On the day of the concert, the ticket price is 20 euros at the entrance.
